Replacement of the impeller at the Alpengasthof Stillupperhaus

We were commissioned by the customer to replace the old, worn cast iron impeller with a newer, more modern chrome steel impeller.

The blades on the impeller showed signs of severe abrasive wear caused by meltwater.

The cast impeller was no longer performing effectively as a whole and therefore had to be replaced. We also refurbished the impeller housing, as it was worn. Here, we were able to re-machine the existing impeller shaft and fit a more modern clamping system with a clamping set.

The new wheel has now been fitted to the mount and is ready for use again.
