Heat treatment engineers weld, solder, harden and grind all sorts of metals and metallic compounds. They can judge a meterial by fracture analysis and sparkle test and have knowledge about measurement engineering, control and feedback control systems (using the help of computer based systems). They also are in charge of monitoring heat treatment machines.
