When you are burning to transform your knowledge from the lessons into practise... then you will love a training as a mechanical engineer. At first in trainee workshop, later in production hall everything is about machines and facilitys -some of them millions worth. At the beginning you will learn about the basics of metal processing: rasping, grinding, sawing, riveting, soldering and so on. You will fell yourself at home at the lathe soon and step by step improve and perfect your techniques.

Apprenticeship: 3 1/2 years

In general education in a V.E.M-business is internationally one of the best. Accordingly chances for promotion and salary are very good.
